I believe coaches are the most important people in a company. I don’t just mean that they’re the ones who give you a nice raise and make sure you punch in on time. I mean that they are the ones who actually get stuff done. You know, like when you’re trying to get your company to do something different, or when you want your employee to quit their job and take up playing the guitar full-time, or when you want someone at your company to be more charismatic than they are now?
Well, coaches can help with that—they can help those things get done by getting everyone on board with the idea and making sure everyone knows what’s going on so they don’t get confused or upset.
What is the most important thing you can do to grow your business? I believe in coaches and movers and shakers. The best way to grow your business is to be around other people who are also growing their businesses and then learn from them. I know that sounds like it would be a drag, but it’s actually super fun! You get to see how they handle things when they’re down, or when they hit a bump in the road. When you have people who can relate to what you’re going through—and are willing to help you out—it makes everything so much easier. So yeah—if there’s one thing I’m passionate about, it’s finding good coaches for people who need them.
